Some women may not feel comfortable having sex during their period although it’s okay to do so. This choice depends on you and your partner’s own sense of comfort.
Can I swim during my period?
It’s okay to swim when you have your period. During heavy days however, you may need to wear a tampon or menstrual cap. Pads are not advisable since they would soak water and bloat. The strips on your sanitary pad that stick on your swimsuit may not hold once you’re in the water. If it’s not really required, you can always swim some other time. Just politely say no to your friends.
